How To Boot Cisco CUCM UCSInstall 8.6, 10, 11 and 12 on KVM/Proxmox The key thing is that you must use a 'machine'id of 'pc-1.3' or it will say your hardware is not supported. Such is the case in CUCM. With version 8.6, Cisco has moved away from an OS platform based on Redhat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 4 and upgraded the underlying OS to RHEL 5. This is good news that allows the system to stay current and support a larger variety of hardware. The bad news is that the upgrade of the OS can be a bit destructive.

Install

Cisco CUCM 8.6.x configuration export. We currently have a Cisco server running CUCM and cannot get access to the system due to a 'Database communication error' received when attempting a log in to CUCM homepage. Is there any way to export configuration files from CUCM without using Bulk Administration Tool. Possibly a CLI function or a way to. CUCM 8.6 and Chrome I am running Google Chrome 15.0.874.102 m and the drop down menus in the CUCM (8.6) admin pages do not work. Does anyone else have this issue?
