With Apple confirming the official shipping date of iLife '09, low-specced Mac users may be interested in knowing what hardware they should pack, before barging in the Apple Store to grab a copy of the new software priced at no less than $80 American.

As you may have already heard, minutes ago, Apple confirmed the shipping date of iLife '09 as being tomorrow, January 27. The suite builds on top of its '08 predecessor, with an emphasis on iPhoto, iMovie and GarageBand – three of the five Apple-developed programs in the iLife suite. While equally important to some users, iWeb and iDVD add smaller changes, which also enhance their functionality.
