I can't say that I've tried it. I've already set up shared folders for moving content. A quick peek at https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-server/remote/remote-desktop-services/c lients/mac-whatsnew reveals:

So presumably that is something to do with managing connection shortcuts rather than drag & drop between the two environments.
