Notification area and menu bar app
Open the notification area item (Windows) or the menu bar app (Mac) to access basic functions:
Then, from your Slack account, use the dropdown menu in the upper lefthand corner to select Apps & Integrations: From the Apps and Integrations search bar, search 'Incoming' and select the incoming webhook ( details found here ). To customize these settings within all of Slack: Click on your workspace name. Select preferences. Choose your preferences. For channel-specific Slack notification settings: Click on the channel name. Select the gear icon in the top bar. Choose Notification preferences. Because some channels are busier than others, it can be useful to minimize.

Once initiated, backup will continue until it's complete, even if it extends beyond the scheduled end time. This option is unavailable outside of your backup schedule. (Version 6.8.2 and earlier): If a backup is currently in progress, the option to Run backup now is replaced by the Pause option. Click Pause to pause the current backup for 24 hours. | ||||||
